GOTTA GO!!!! Have Passport, will travel!!

A days work is never enough!

From bustling New York to the scent of lavender in Avignon. A castle in England to LA and all in between. The excitement of going on the road or to the friendly skies to please a client fills me with great Joy and Pleasure. I’ve been lucky enough to be featured in “Town & Country’s Weddings” issue for hair and makeup and what an honor.

Growing up and wanting to attend every wedding that I could as a kid was always pure excitement and remains the same for me today.

ART / Taras Loboda

Born May 4th, 1961, Taras Loboda is a Ukraine Artist living in Prague (Czech Republic). He was born into the family of I.I.Loboda, the famous Ukrainian artist. His work is of thematic compositions, portraits, landscapes, still-lifes. The artist persistently and purposefully develops three main motives: woman’s portrait and act (body with melodious lines, a look with a sad solitude feeling), strict classic still life and a phantom landscape.

I first discovered Loboda while in Prague on one of the many trips there to work. While taking a break I decided to visit and tour the Prague Castle (founded in around 880), the crown jewel of this city that has maintained it’s medieval and architectural legacy that incorporates gothic and baroque, rococo and art nouveau. It truly is like the fairytales we read about as children.. Adjacent to the Charles Bridge, I find this city one of the most fascinating in Eastern Europe.

GETTING AWAY / India

India is a dichotomy of the human condition… Both beautiful with it’s incredible temples and structures, the world famous Taj Mahal  “the jewel of Muslim art in India” is considered the eighth wonder of the world, entirely constructed of white marble. It’s the shrine of the  Emperor Shah Jahan and his third wife, Mumtaz Mahal. There is a sense after entering through the Great Gate that there is no structure like the Taj Mahal… Yet there is a backdrop of poverty and stead-fast spiritual redemption… It is beyond complex and like no other place on the planet….

I was invited to India for a Wedding…
